Young People’s Journey with Mary to Jesus

It is a great blessing to be part of the National Youth Day Delegation for this year 2017. The National Youth Day (NYD) is an event where the Philippine Church expresses, in very concrete ways, her great love for the young. It is an occasion offered for young people to celebrate and deepen their faith, and a special moment of coming together as one body, united in a journey towards intimacy with Christ.  The2017 National Youth Day (NYD) is to be held in Zamboanga City, the Latin City of the Philippines on November 6-10, 2017 with the Theme: "The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His Name” [Luke 1:49]. There are 32 delegates from the Archdiocese of Manila and part of this delegation are the 11 Youth Animator Catechists and 2 coordinators from CFAM.

Today, Nov. 04,2017-Saturday, during the Manila Archdiocesan Pastoral Assembly (MAGPAS) at Paco Catholic School Auditorium, the NYD delegates were sent to go for this pilgrimage with the other young people all over the Philippines.  The commissioning was headed by Bishop Pabillo. Be with us in prayer for the fruitful and meaningful gathering of the Young people.  May we truly serve God while young and continue to give our lives for the love of Him with joy and thanksgiving.  May God bless us all!
