CFAM joins Katolikong Pinoy celebration of Advent

Last 10th of December 2016 at the Lay Force Chapel, The Catholic laity of the Archdiocese of Manila celebrated Advent with Fr. Jun Sescon. He emphasized that it`s not yet Christmas! MAGHINTAY! Huwag magmadali, may mga bagay sa buhay na bunga ng paghihintay .We wait for the sun to rise and the seed to sprout. Our sense of WAITING  is an EXPRESSION of our SOLIDARITY with others, who are sick, poor and the hungry or those  in deep sorrow. It is also an EXPRESSION of HOPE, from the people of the old testament up to the modern period. WAITING is a part of humanity and reality. There are things in life that we cannot rush. We can wait with dignity because we have a God who fulfills his promise.

We can ask …Lord what are you waiting for me? Are you waiting for me to move on? … To confess my sins and forgive? This advent season lets reflect about the 3 W`s of Advent…TO WAIT… WATCH and  WONDER. Remember it`s not yet Christmas! We can only have a meaningful celebration of Christmas if we have a fruitful preparation of advent.
